Umm Arizam Wetlands Database Project

Libya boasts more than 220 wetlands, including the Umm Arizam Wetlands, Umm Hufayn, and Umm Quramme. This project marks a significant step towards environmental conservation and sustainability. Wetlands are vital for sustaining life on our planet, and their preservation is crucial.

Wetlands serve as habitats for numerous creatures, providing homes that would be lost if these areas were to disappear. Saving the wetlands is imperative as the future of the Earth relies on them. They are responsible for maintaining a diverse ecosystem, which would be severely disrupted if wetlands ceased to exist.
